Kangaroo Island Tour

First of all, I'm gonna start blogging in English from now on. It just seems easier, since my computer is programmed to type in English, and my mind gets confused when I have to write in Danish. The grammar is simply just horrible, I don't wanna expose you to that.

So to get to the more juicy part of the post, I want to show you photos from my lovely trip to Kangaroo Island. We were a group of 13 young adults and 2 tour leaders, including Petra and her Australian friend. There were 2 Japanese girls, 7 Germans, 3 from Brazil and me. Sleeping in a room with 3 Germans really made me grateful for all the holidays I've been to in German speaking countries - I did actually understand a fair bit :)

The first day we were all very tired from getting up around 5.30 to go on a bus for a few hours, then a ferry for an hour, and back on the bus for another hour. Luckily the Island is small, so to get from one end to another doesn't take much longer than 2-3 hours. On the ferry I got to know a bunch of the others, and it was definitely a decent group of nice and funny people.
That night we went swimming in the ocean as the sun set. It was the most beautiful sunset I've ever experienced in my life, and I swore to myself I would never forget it.

The next day we went to see all the tourist attractions, such as The Remarkable Rocks, Seal Bay, Admirals Arch and we went to see koalas. The weather was amazing that day, I even got a sunburn on my shoulder, which luckily has turned into a tan now.

In front of Seal Bay, such a beautiful beach

Seal Bay, which some of the seal on their way to the ocean

Me in front of one of the many beautiful beaches on the island
Me and one of the Brazilian students, named Matheus, in front of The Remarkable Rocks

The last day we went to eucalyptus plantation, and I bought some lovely bathing products from there, which smell wonderfully Australian :) There were an emu around the plantation, unfortunately no kangaroos.

There were even brochures in Danish :)
